Communication Today
The 23 years old lighthouse of media professionals– Communication Today is being published by Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Bhanawat, Former Head, Centre for Mass Communication, University of Rajasthan. The media quarterly journal is a regular read amidst media students, researchers and academicians of India. Dissertations on the journal have been conducted at masters level degree by the students of few Universities of India.
Book Review and ‘Communication Causerie’ have been the regular features of the journal. The journal has carried variety of papers including topics of Media Education, Advertising, Print Media, Electronic Media, Development Communication, Public Relations, New Media etc., contributed by researchers, media practitioners, and academicians from different parts of India. The major impact of mass mediums over children, women and adolescents have been time and again published in the interdisciplinary periodical.
In the year 2011, the Public Relations Council of India awarded ‘Golden Award in External Magazine category’ for contributing quality research papers in the field of Media and Public Relations in its global meet at Chandigarh.
