I am feeling emotionally so overwhelmed to share a pic of the very first issue of my journal Communication Today (January-March 1997) & also feel great pleasure to announce that the April – September 2020 issue of Communication Today is going to be published with an academic collaboration with Shiva Ji University, Kolhapur.
We welcome all the teachers and research scholars to send in your articles or research papers on the most contemporary topic “COVID-19 & Role of Media” over varied dimensions, not exceeding the word limit of 3000 words before 30th June 2020 at either of the Email IDs, i.e.,
Dr. Nisha Mude Pawer, Head, Department of Mass Communication, Shiva Ji University has already received a good number of articles while organizing a webinar on the above topic and we are still open with more. Call for papers
It is a matter of great pleasure that we shall be celebrating the ‘Silver Jubilee’ of Communication Today (A Media Quarterly Bilingual Journal) next year in 2021. This journal has been publishing the articles & research journals of media academicians & practitioners on varied dimensions of media very effectively for all these 24 years…
Communication Today has come up with various special issues on different aspects of media along with its publications in the book form as well.
Some scholars from the universities have done research work upon the journal i.e., Communication Today. The journal has also got the ‘Golden Award for External Magazine’ category by PRCI at its Chandigarh National Conference.
The April-December, 2021 issue comprising of approx 400 pages is based upon COVID-19 and Media, for which we have received articles & research papers from different parts of the country.
The first issue of this silver jubilee year is going to be published upon “The completion of 100 years of Media Education”. Earlier we announced to accept the papers till 30th September but due to a huge number of papers in the queue, we have decided to publish a collaborative issue of March-December, 2020 issue i.e on COVID-19 and Media.
January-March, 2021 issue will focus upon “100 years of Media Education in India” covering the development of media education across the nation, talking about the status of Media Education and contemporary issues of Media Education, and so on and so forth. Interested candidates shall send their papers before 15th December 2020.
No fees will be charged for any of the publications.
